Twin Cities Tattoo Fest + Moving Shop!!

BIG NEWS. HUGE, EVEN.

After taking some time off to spend up north, I’m back and ready to issue some important announcements!

TWIN CITIES TATTOO FEST

For the 3rd year in a row I’ll be participating in the Twin Cities Tattoo Festival at River Center in Saint Paul, MN. I will be taking walk up appointments for the most part, but if folks wanna pre-book an appointment with me, you’re welcome to hit me up! I will have some new flash available that I’ll post a day or two prior to the con, otherwise it’ll be available for viewing in person.

I’m going to be at table X03, which is in the back left corner of the convention hall! Stoked to be in the rear of the fest because it’s closer to the stencil machine lol…Below is a map that you can reference for where to find me!

I’ll also have my apprentice-son Damen with me selling his art and whatnot, AND will be sharing the table with my friend Charlie! Charlie also does epic little creature tattoos, definitely stop by and see what cool stuff he has to be tattooed! HERE is Charlie’s instagram if you want to see examples of his work. :)

I’M MOVING TO A NEW SHOP

More specifically, I’m starting my OWN little shop space! Yes, that’s right, thats the ‘big thing’ I’ve been all hush hush about. For a few years I’ve waffled with the idea of moving into my very own studio, but a space popped up near my home that was so quirky and had the right specs I was looking for. It’s been a wonderful few years working out of my little sunny room off of Grand Avenue, but I’m so excited to have more space to decorate, and space for ya’ll to sit!

Fellow tatty blaster Lauren (@latebloomertattoos) and Damen (my apprentice!) will be joining me in this move. Our space is going to be called Bluegill Tattoo. We officially get the keys on August 1st, and at some point in August I’ll be coordinating a flash day/open house sort of thing for folks to come by and say hi, and check out the space.

My last day at my current studio location will be July 23rd. As of August 1st, all appointments will be updated to reflect the address to the new studio. It’s got a lot more availability for parking, and is still quite accessible via bus. Seriously can’t wait for ya’ll to come check it, it still doesn’t feel real lol.
