Updates & holy crap it's cold

Howdy everyone. Hot dang, it’s been a minute since I had a newsletter going on. We are SO back. Anyway, let’s get into it.

Flash

New flash will be dropping sometime before December 7th or so. I’m hoping to have a bunch more little beasts and freaks for ya’ll to fill up the remainder of my December calendar, and start booking January as well. It’ll all be shmedium sized flash, so nothing too big and wild.

Reschedules

I wanted to take a hot minute here to say THANK YOU again to anyone I’ve had to move around this fall. It’s been a chaotic season of health issues for lil’ ol me, between getting a hand surgery and some teeth pulled, among other things.

If you have a deposit paid and we have not rescheduled you, please email me ASAP to get on my books! If you haven’t heard back from me - please email me AGAIN. My inbox is a mcfreakin’ mess right now and I’m trying to work on that. 😬

Customs

If you’ve sent me a custom inquiry, which I told you was okay to do, I wanted to clear the air here and say that I’m postponing taking on customs for the time being. I have a bad habit of being a people pleaser, and ya’ll have such great ideas. But my schedule is pretty dang full at the moment and I can’t afford to take on the additional workload right now.

That being said, I do hope to offer some custom slots at some point in 2025. Now that I’ve got a newsletter up and running again, it will be a lot easier to stay in touch about when that’ll happen down the road. Thanks again for your patience and sorry to those I left hanging!

Changes to Scheduling

As of my next flash drop all appointments can be made using my venue.ink page. I’m excited to switch to a scheduling service that is more focused to my needs as a tattooer, and hopefully it will streamline getting ya’ll booked into my schedule.

Secondly, I am raising my deposit price from $100 to $120. $100 of this cost is still deductible from the final cost of your tattoo, but the remaining $20 covers my booking system and admin services and is non-deductible. Just wanted to give a heads up in case folks were feeling some kind of way about that. I’ve held off doing this for a while but with the cost of (literally everything) going up, I have to do a lil’ something about it.

In other news…

I’m hoping to have some art and clay doo-dads for sale at some point this winter. I’m really excited to start branching out into things that aren’t tattooing again! I’m so grateful for all the work I get to do with my tattoo stuff, but sometimes it’s nice to just kick back and make some little critters out of clay. I’ll also have some new stickers available too, and maybe even a few shirts…? The shirts are more of a musing thing but I've always wanted to make some textile things soooo, yeah, gonna see how that goes.

I’m sure there’s a plethora more things to yap about here but I’m gonna go ahead and wrap this one up. I mostly just wanted to write to touch base about my absence and that no, I’m not dead, just been a wee burnt out with things lately. (Who hasn’t though, amirite?)
